Doctoral students must follow a minimum of 100 hours of training during the preparation of their thesis.
Several departments are involved in setting up training courses that can be consulted on Amethis : the doctoral schools, but also the Pays de la Loire doctoral college, the doctoral site centres and the university libraries. Remember to identify the organising department if you wish to obtain information on a course.

Disciplinary courses

Disciplinary courses are organised by the doctoral school. These are scientific courses in the doctoral student's research speciality.

Cross-disciplinary courses

Cross-disciplinary courses are offered by the Pays de la Loire Doctoral College. These are training courses with a professional focus: management, ethics, preparation for career development, etc.
